San Diego (Day 1) Del Mar Beach

We spent the past week in San Diego with about half of my family. My dad rented a house for the week about 10 minutes from Del Mar Beach. For the past several weeks the boys have been asking "when do we get to go to the beach?" So after unloading the van and changing into swimsuits we were off to Del Mar Beach even though it was cloudy and windy.

The boogie boards were a hit. Tommy and Austin loved body surfing.

Sammy like it until he got a mouthful of sea water. I wish I could have gotten a picture of his puckered up face.

Sarah was super excited to go to the beach. She seemed to like it okay even though it was a little chilly. She really liked finding sea shells.

Day 1: Success!! Long drive, but the beach was fun. Boys didn't even notice the chilly air.
