On Saturday, June 4, Sarah had a dance recital.

After the recital we got frozen lemonade from McDonald's. 

The boys gave Sarah some silk roses.

Below is a video of the dance.  Sarah is in the back row so sometimes she is hard to see...also Jim got a little distracted by the cuteness while he was filming...he kept watching Sarah instead of the video so at times you get a little bit of the ceiling or the back of someone's head.

 

Sarah has loved dance, but she has especially loved dancing with her friends - Marissa, Olivia, Haven, and Gwen.

When life gives you lemons make lemonade

and I received this message -

Too late to cancel our hotel reservations, so we finished the drive, checked into the hotel and did this -

Something we do just about every day here in Phoenix.

Then we ate here -

-another thing we can do in Phoenix.

And we saw this movie -

- another thing we can do in Phoenix.

But the trip wasn't a total loss, we visited -

Brigham Young's Winter Home

And we got to do it all with our favorite people -

Grandma Reid, Avi, Grandma Roberts, and Ladd.

The next morning, we got up, ate breakfast, and drove home.

As a Christmas present, we arranged this trip for them...it's the thought that counts, right?
