Pinewood Derby

Pinewood Derby

April 20, 2011

Last Wednesday, our Cub Scout Pack had their annual Pinewood Derby.

This is Tommy's third and final Pinewood Derby.  He is getting ready for his first heat.  His car is the black one with flames on the right.

Austin's car won the Most Patriotic.

Tommy's car was Most Creative.

This is the heat where Tommy and Austin's cars faced each other.  Tommy's is in the left lane and Austin's in the middle lane.  I think Tommy's won by a hair...

This was by far our best showing.  Austin's car took 4th.  Tommy's was definitely in the top 10.  The boys were very excited that they actually won some heats this year.  Woohoo!!!  Maybe by the time Sammy is in Cub Scouts we will figure it out.
