BREAKFAST
Our first goal, Tuesday morning was to eat breakfast. As we were walking around we happened upon this scene?!?!? We got to see FDNY in action.
THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART
Jim in front of the MET (no idea why my pictures are the wrong way...if anyone knows how to rotate please let me know how...they are the correct orientation in my folder. This happened once before and it seemed to self correct).
Check out this amazing piano.
The MET is huge! We only had a couple of hours. My dad standing in front of some armored knights. When we left the MET, it was raining very hard. Fortunately, we brought our umbrellas so we made do without much harm.
NEW YORK TEMPLE
Spent the afternoon at the NY Temple. Beautiful.
The temple is right across the street from The Juilliard School, so we had to check that out. After that, we headed back to Times Square to enjoy another broadway show - Wicked.
F-A-B-U-O-L-U-O-S!!!
For dessert, Denise and Zane shared some cupcakes they got from Carlo's bakery (you know, The Cake Boss). They stood in line for a long time to get these cupcakes.
Mmmmm...my favorite was the peanut butter one.
