Today Sammy had his Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony (sniff, sniff).
Sammy completed kindergarten with high marks. His reading skills have improved immensly. We read scriptures every night and he always reads a couple of verses and he only needs help with a few words. Very impressive. He is already a bit of a math whiz handling addition and subtraction with great ease. But the thing that impresses me the most is his maturity. The kid is soooo polite and kind (but he does have his moments).
Before the promotion ceremony, they had an awards ceremony. He received Student of the Month Award again this year.

Me and Sammy
Trey and Sammy in front of the school. Next year we will be trying out a new school so we are sadly saying goodbye to Dreaming Summit. The end of this school year has been very difficult for me because my kids have been going there for over 6 years. So many wonderful teachers and students and staff and parents. I hate saying goodbye. My heart aches...

Congrats to Sam! It's difficult to say goodbye, and I pray that your heart will feel at peace with your decision to try out a new school.
Sniff Sniff is right!!! Why are they growing up so fast, it is rude!!! Is there a cool new charter school around that you are trying?
