Last night, our den had their Blue and Gold Banquet. We did a Safari/Jungle theme. Tommy was super excited because he got to bring his snake, Venom.
I was quite impress with our primary president, Heather. Not only did she put on a good banquet - food, decorations, etc - she held Tommy's snake.
She also held Spike, the Joyner's bearded dragon, but for some reason she was a little more relecutant to hold Spike.
Tommy was present Cub Scoutings highest award - the Arrow of Light. He also earned his Cub Scout Religious Square Knot, and six more activity badges - Athlete, Communicator, Family Member, Forester, Geologist, and Scientist. He only needs to earn Craftsman and Traveler and he will have all 20.
The 11-year-old Scouts welcomed Bryan and Tommy into their troop. Tommy has to wait a few more months until he turns 11 to actually join them.
Tommy and Bryan both worked hard to earn their Arrow of Light and I am proud of them. Good work!!

Okay, is it just me or does that first picture of Heather look like that is someone else's arm?
Way to go Tommy on your Arrow of Light award, badges, and getting your primary president to hold Venom!
